We all do! It is natural for us to be drawn to the sun because it is both beneficial our physical and psychological well being. There are times that we under estimate the suns powerful rays and then we pay the price with chills, sore red skin and some times even becoming very ill.
Here is a potent and cooling face and body oil to heal your burnt skin in no time.
Recipe
50 Ml Jojoba oil
8 Drops of German Blue Chamomile Essential Oil
15 Drops Peppermint Essential oil
Jojoba oil is a fabulous oil for treating sun burns and the one that I most highly recommend. Jojoba plant is a dessert plant and works well for sun bathing too. It is also a great idea to mix Jojoba with Aloe Vera.
German Blue Chamomile Essential Oil Highly Anti Inflammatory and CONCENTRATED
Peppermint Essential OilAlso Anti Inflammatory and an amazing invisible ice pack that will have you cooled in no time. In my experience Peppermint oil actually works faster and more effectively in cooling the skin than an ice pack because it penetrates the skin layers much deeper.
Hello Loves! Today I decided to share how I organize my essential oils for my working desk!
I have a fairly large collection of oils and not alot of space to store them.
So here is what I came up with!
I store all of my essential oils on my working desk in these wooden Ikea drawers that came in a small storage dresser.
I find its easier to just leave the drawers themselves on my desk so I can grab what I need easily.
Now onto how I manage to find the oil I need without having to pick each one up and hope that I grab the essential oil I was looking for.
As You an see when looking at my oils from above they are all numbered. What I have done instead of writing all the names of the oils on top is I have created an essential oil index in my creation binder.
Each oil has a number and it can be easily searched for in the index and located in the box. All of the oils in the box are organised by number in order.
Why I like my index so much better than writing down the names on all of the labels is it firstly can be difficult to fit the names of the essential oils on the labels. But most importantly I also like the Idea Of having my essential oils filed and written out on paper that way I can easily assess which oils I have and which I need or desire.
Here is how the index works!
Essential oils fall into different categories in nature. There are Flowers, Trees, Woods,Roots, and Grasses.
So my index contains all of my essential oils organized by category. I have all the flowers on one page and the trees on another.
This process is so easy it takes literally two seconds to open my binder and find the number of the essential oil I wish to use.
Here is a video demonstration and a walk through of my organization in further detail!
Hope you all really enjoyed this post and found it helpful

Now you get to control the quality of the ingredients you put into your mouth leading to a happier smile!
Most Toothpaste manufaturers put cheap ineffective and HARMFUL chemicals into their products ranging from synthetic alcohols, FD&C blue dye, Sodium lauryl sulfate, Fluoride and much much more!
Ever Wonder Why They Say “Could Be harmful If swallowed?” Id say thats a pretty good indication you should not be putting it into your mouth period!
Alright enough of the scary lets get started on our potent homemade toothpaste!
Here Is A List Of Our Potent Ingredients & Why We Will Be Using Them!
Coconut oil: The base of our toothpaste! This will help give your product texture! Coconut oil also has many benefits to your oral health. Its antibacterial properties are great for fighting plaque but its also known for healing gum tissue!
Baking Soda: Now here is how your gonna get those pearly whites!
Baking soda is often used as a natural teeth whitener. It is known for removing stains.
*There is a myth that baking soda is to harsh for everyday use. Let me just clear something up, it is PERFECTLY safe for everyday use and it WILL NOT cause harm to your enamel so long as you have healthy alkaline saliva WHICH by the way baking soda helps maintain the alkaline ph balance to your saliva every time you use it!
Essential Oils: This is whats going to make your mouth feel minty fresh! Only instead of using menthol as all tooth paste manufatureres do we are using the real deal! Peppermint and cinnamon essential oils are my favorites for toothpaste. Peppermint for freshness and its anti inflamitory properties and cinnamon for its highly anti microbial properties!
Fun Fact: Essential oils are all anti bacterial, anti fungal, and anti viral. They are also able to penetrate through your gums to promote healing!
Salt: PLEASE do not use table salt that is just plain bad for you! Any natural salt of your choice is great and will help with whitening and in keeping your saliva nice and alkaline!
So here are your exact Measurements. (This makes about 1 months worth of toothpaste)
2 Tablespoons Coconut oil
2 1/2 Tablespoons baking soda
5-15 drops of essential oils (depending on your preference)
Pinch Of Salt
Here is How You Do It
Step 1. Mix essential oils with your coconut oil mashing the oil with a fork to make it easier to work with
Step 2. Mix in the baking soda one tablespoon at a time and mix well until it is identical to a thick toothpaste like consistency!
step 3. Add your salt and package it!
NOW HOW EASY WAS THAT?

I hope You All Have Fun With Your Blissful Beauty Creations As Always!
After being asked many times if I have ever tried the “No Poo Method” I decided I may as well give this a shot and see what the hype is over this natural alternative to cleaning hair. I also decided to do it because of the benefits I had researched such as; eliminating chemicals from my routine ,and its much cheaper. Apple cider vinegar has a wonderful effect on restoring the ph balance of your hair and stripping it clean of toxins also intrigued me so I set out to a 7 day experiment!
Day 1:
So typically I wash my hair every other day to every 2 days because I have an oily scalp. Today is day 1 and I washed my hair using my vinegar water mixture. 75% water to 25% vinegar.
Results: I am quite pleased so far. My hair seems very similar to how it is when it is shampood but actually looks a little shiner! So far I am quite pleased with it and there is no icky vinegar smell to my hair at all like I feared there might be.
Day 2: I DO SMELL LIKE VINEGAR!
By Day 3 I stopped blogging about this experiment due to my lack of enthusiasm for it due to the horrible smell. As you can see my hair looks pretty good and actually LIGHTER. My over all thoughts are on video here:
Grow Your Lashes Fast Through Your Diet And Natural Conditioning Remedies!
The Truth On Mascara
Did you know that most of the mascaras on the market contain ingredients that can actually do harm to your lashes?
After a while you may start to notice your lashes become brittle and dry and before you know it….they fall out! This is a good way for manufactures to get consumers to come back for more of their magic eyelash goop!
I will teach your how to get real results with YOUR lashes without having to pay for false promises that come in a plastic tube of black goop!
First And Foremost you need to have a healthy diet!
Key Nutrients For Healthier & Longer Lashes!
VITAMIN H: Vitamin H is actually a B vitamin and B vitamins are known for having good effects on the hair and lashes. B vitamins help the body metabolize fats and proteins and in result you get faster hair growth! You can buy Supplements at health food stores. Some ways to get this nutrient through your food is by eating things like eggs, beans, and nuts and seeds!
Antioxidants: Antioxidant rich foods like blueberries and believe it or not chocolate are fantastic at protecting your lashes and keeping them strong so eat foods rich in color!
Omega 3 Fatty acids: I cant stress how important it is to have healthy fats in your diet! Healthy fats come from things like fish, avocados, nuts and seeds. These fats are good to maintain your vibrant beauty and overall general health. Omega 3′s help your body absorb nutrients and vitamins to your blood stream.
Only when you are truly healthy from the inside it will exude on the outside.
How To Condition Your Lashes As Part Of Your Daily Beauty Regime
Olive oil is my favorite natural treatment for lashes. Apply a drop to your finger and apply the oil to your lashes every night before bed.
~Another great oil is vitamin E oil
~A clever choice is Pomegranate oil as it is rich in antioxidants which will stimulate growth
Mascara Your Friend Or Your Enemy?
As I said at the start of this post most mascaras are causing harm to your lashes due to harmful preservatives and chemicals. Why would you want to settle for only temporary results anyways?
I highly suggest reducing the amount of mascara you apply and also reduce how often you apply it. Give your lashes a chance to recover once in a while at the very least.
The Bright Side
There are healthy alternatives to mascaras one of my favorites is by 100% pure and I have the color blackberry. I have a full review on this mascara on my blog as well. Be sure to check that out!
Mascaras rich in plant extracts, natural pigments, and un-harmful preservatives are a wiser choice. Natural Mascaras are often equally effective as the generic ones though they are harder to find.
