Can you believe it is already the last month of fall and soon it will be snowing???
If it snows where you live of course!
Today I am going to share my most used products of the season so lets get started!
I FINALLY found a versatile all natural vegan eye and lip palette! What you see in the picture above is the Jane Iredale Glamour palette! I will go into more detail about the palette next week! For now I will just share the colors I have been loving the most this fall. All my favorites have the names written above!
Here are swatches of my favorite eyeshadows.
Rose Gold:The star of the palette in my opinion! The perfect rose gold shadow! very warm and natural!
Dreamy Pink: I would describe this color as a neutral pink more on the brown and minky side.
Merlot: The perfect chocolatey plum color! Lovely on hazel or brown eyes in the crease!
I love to use this Jane Iredale lid primer before applying the eye shadows. The primer brings out the true color in the shadows and helps the makeup last longer.
There are 3 different shades of the primers you can choose from. I chose canvas which is a neutral nude satin.
My favorite lipsticks from the palette so far have been:
Kaylee: A coppery neutral with a sparkly finish
Lucy: A true hot pink
Margi: Stunning color! A bright cranberry red! Perfect for the holidays
Last makeup favorite of the month is this beautiful lipstick by the etsy shop Cherry crush cosmetics. I go this lipstick years ago and I always love to pop it out this time of the year although its great for all times of the year really!
Bella Lipstick: A ruby pink with a silver shine! Very pigmented! Like wearing ruby gems on your lips!
My favorite lip balm of the season is the salted caramel lip balm by symbolic imports! yum yum! So creamy and smooth and it just smells soooooooo YUM
I have been using this lovely lotion from Green Nymph Gratto on etsy! The consistency is so rich but not greasy at all and the smell reminds me of chai tea!
My favorite fall perfume has got to be the sample of celtic moon by symbolic imports! The notes are black tea, sandalwood, and jasmine. So lovely crisp and warming! I will be placing an order for a full size.
These are all my lush favorites of the season! Hope you enjoyed!
Welcome back to my blog! Today I have a fun autumnale etsy and lush haul for you!
I have found that organic cosmetic lines can be very limiting when it comes to offering variety and they often dont change their products up from season to season. I was bored at looking at the same old stuff so I decided to have a look on etsy. I found PILES AND PILES of lovely handmade options for fall. I just love to be festive so I like to change my products up according to season.
I am very exited to share some of the lovely goodies I found while browsing etsy.
I was looking for a particular perfume with a true honey aroma as this can be so hard to find. I ended up on a shop called symbolic imports because they offer a perfume called ”Sweet Honey“ They also offer samples so I decided to try a couple more scents along with it.
My thoughts on the perfumes I received:
Sweet Honey
Not what I was looking for in a honey perfume. It is SUPER sweet but the name of the perfume did imply that. I was looking for that raw sweet but somehow earthy and dirty smell that raw honey has. This perfume smells like it has alot of Vanilla added to it and vanilla is not my favorite perfume note. I am not saying this is not a nice product, I just think perfume is very personal and its hard to please everyone when it comes to scent.
Oatmilk and Honey
Not for me either. To me this just smelled like straight up marzipan. If that is your thing I highly suggest it!
Celtic Moon
Oh my goodness! This perfume captures that mysterious and dark yet comforting scent of a chilly walk under the full moon. The notes of this perfume are black tea, jsamine, and sandalwood. The perfume hypnotizes you with the earthy fresh scent of black tea leaves and then comforts and warms you up with the amber floral notes of the sandal wood and jasmine. Much like that feeling of going out for a evening walk and then snuggling up in a cozy cabin. I will be buying this one in full size for sure.
Last thing I got from symbolic imports is the salted caramel lip balm you see on the top picture. MMMM so good rubbing that caramel goodness on your lips!
Over all I really enjoyed looking at the fun diverse shop that symbolic imports is! I am also very happy with the originality and thought put into the products! I would suggest you check this shop out!
While pursuing my search for products in the fall theme I looked for a fall scented lotion. Every night before I go to bed I moisturize my hands with a lotion and the lotion I was using at the time smelled like citrus and coconut which I thought was to summery for this time of year, I came across a shop called Green Nymph Gratto and let me just say I fell in love with the name of the shop and the packaging right away! The packaging is very simple yet beautiful. They craft handmade lotions and you can choose any of the scents they have listed which there are some really fun autumn scents available! I chose falling leaves and I LOVE this scent, the scent is a bit more foody than I expected but I loved the warming smell of the cloves and it reminds me of chai tea which I am loving at the moment! The consistency is so nice and rich but not so rich that it can be called a butter or whip. It is just a perfectly crafted hand lotion!
Check out the wonderful Green Nymph Gratto on Etsy
Before I ended my etsy search I decided to try out some tinted lip balms because they are my favorite lip products for on the go! There are so many options when it comes to lip balms on etsy but the shop Petite Threla stood out to me most. One because the packaging was beautiful and the lip balms looked professionally named and branded. My next reason is the color selection is abundant. Let me tell you I am so glad I ordered from this shop! The delivery was quick and the shop owner was so lovely and included a free lip balm and left me a note!
The first color I purchased is rose and you can see it on my lips in the picture above. Its a perfect rosy pink. Very delicate and subtly shimmery. The scent of this is of true rose luxury! The pigmentation is also very subtle but you can build on it.
Next I chose Jasmine. This color is a beautiful grape purple with a fairy like sparkle effect! The smell is to die for if you are a jasmine fan like me!
Excuse the blister on my lip I just got over a cold and rubbed tíssues on my skin too many times. Something that really helped with that blister was Threla’s perfectly crafted pomegranate lip balm. Hands down best lip balm I have ever tried. The PERFECT consistency! Not to greasy but softer than a burts bees. Extremely long lasting! I am also obsessed with the bright fruity scent of this lip balm, so cheerful and a little strong for a lip balm but I LOVE that!
If you want some well made fun and delicious lip balms check out Petite Threla
Now its time for some LUSH action! I Popped into the shop just to have a look at the Autumn winter selection and two products caught my eye and my nose. I have not shopped at lush in a while because though they keep preservatives and emulsifiers to the minimum they still do put things like parabens and sulfates in a great deal of their products. My daughter is currently obsessed with bubble baths and natural sulfate free soaps do not give alot of bubbles for a bubble bath. I was like hey my girl wants a fun bubble bath I am going to give her one! Which leads us in to my first purchase.
When I entered the shop I was approached by one of the many lovely employees the lush always has. I told him I was looking for a fun Halloween inspired bubble bath experience for my daughter and as soon as he showed me the sparkly pumpkin shaped bubble bar, I was sold! The scent is nothing to special but it gave mountain levels of bubbles and turned the bath into a beautiful orange sparkly soup! My daughter had a wonderful time!
After playing with alot of lush products the friendly salesmen took me to the sink to wash my hands and I used a soap called yog nog which is one of there new Christmas scents! I personally am not ready for Christmas shopping yet but this soap smelled like tofee and burnt sugar! I had to have it! I like to cut pieces off of the big chunk before use. Yog Nog smells so good! It has a great lather too!
That is all the festive purchases I made! I feel so very much in the fall and holiday spirit now. I will probably do a similar haul like this around December. A great thing about shopping on etsy is the prices are so reasonable and everything is handmade. I love helping people turn their hobby into a way to make money!
Check out my youtube video where I feature all of these products!
Hello my beautifully blissful followers! Today I have a special recipe which I being hugely pregnant at the moment have been enjoying alot lately!
As many of you know I was using an expensive oil by living libations with pretty promising claims that I wont get any stretch marks this pregnancy. The pricey oil did not work for me but this recipe I have put together of affordable and simple ingredients has kept the stretch marks at bay at least for now!
Ingredients:
40 Grams Shea Butter unrefined
10 Grams coconut oil
10 drops of lavender essential oil
I have found she butter to be the magical ingredient. I noticed it does not rub off on my clothes right away like most oils. It penetrates the skin deeply and my skin still feels moisturized hours after application.
I really enjoy using it in a stick form because its fast application and I dont need to get my hands greasy.
Here is a video tutorial on how to make it on my youtube channel.
Also check out my recipe for A vanilla body whip made from shea butter
It is the end of April and I have discovered many treasures while unpacking from the move!
First off I found a giant block of She butter which has been a god send to find at this time with my stretch marks starting to worsen from pregnancy. It has really helped, I was using living libations seabuckthorn best skin ever but sadly its clearly not working as I am getting stretch marks even faster than last pregnancy. Using plain shea butter has really helped with my itchy skin and put the growth of the stretch marks on pause… at least for now!
Dont get me wrong I still love my living libations though the oil didnt work for me! I have been indulging in my lavish abundance perfume loads this spring. Its pure joy in a bottle. Notes of lavender, lime, Jasmine, and Vanilla. Simply divine!
Twp eye makeup products that have really made beauty a breeze for this part time blogger and full time momma is the Alterra eye cream stick with the brown shade and nude shade and the Jane Iredale highlighting pencil.
Above are swatches of the Alterra cream stick. I love how easy and fast it is to apply this to my eyes. Perfect to achieve a subtle neutral look! I like to use the nude on my lid and lightly smear the chocolate brown in my crease. It achieves a natural look that takes literally seconds!
Now this Jane iradale highlight stick is an investment but well worth it! Seriously nothing brightens my eyes like this product. I love how soft the shades are. My personal favourite is the pink shade in my inner tear duct.
This color is a a warm an subtle peachy pink that I feel is a nice middle ground from the pink blossom and blush orchid by burts bees. You wont catch me without one of these lip balms in my purse and this one has been in mine the whole month!
Last but not least is this spring to summer transition lip gloss by Zuii oraganics in the color Ruby Rose. This lip gloss looks red in the tube but once applied to the lips it looks like a hot pink super summery!
The gloss goes on like a lip gloss and dries like a stain and lasts for hours before having to re apply!
Really hope you all check out my video where I talk more about the products!
Today I have a special video tutorial on how to achieve plumper lips without using harsh questionable chemicals found in traditional lip plumping balms.
Ingredients
1 Tablespoon Beeswax
2 Tablespoons Coconut Oil (adjust if you like balms creamier or drier)
2-5 drops of cinnamon essential oil. (do not add to much or it will burn ALOT)
Its about time I finally go into detail about these wonderful eco friendly tinted lip balms.
The Burts bees tinted lip balms come in a huge variety of colors and are reasonably priced at only 7.95 Euros.
They are 100% natural and safe and what I love most about these is they are so moisture rich! The color pay off is amazing and they look so natural on!
This product is a must have item in every girls purse!
Here are my favourite colors swatched
Top to bottom
Rose: Rose is my favourite. It is the most pigmented of all the lip balms and its the perfect rosy color. Its nice to have a red lip color you dont have to worry about smudging and it looks subtle and natural. It Can be easily applied without a mirror!
Pink Blossom: I feel this is the one that will be most universally loved. Its the perfect pink and if I were knew to these products I would buy this one first.
Sweet Violet:A deep violet color. This purple looks so natural and looks amazing with brown eyes!
Blush Orchid: Blush orchid is a pale pinky nude with silver shimmer. It looks great with a tan and looks very sweet and girly.

I am back in the blogging and vlogging groove! So sorry for my absense! Life as a new mommy makes it difficult to find time however my daughter is already One year! AHH time flies! Now that she is one I have noticed how much more time I have to get things done as she can entertain herself so much better and is reliably napping. YAY 😀
So without Further ado here are my Favourites for the Month of August 2013. I am excited to announce that you can plan on seeing videos from me on my youtube channel every Tuesday & Thursday! http://www.youtube.com/user/DanielleBeautyBliss
Lets Talk Makeup First!
I Have been loving these two creme highlighters by Lavera
To the right is my absolute favourite of the two at the moment and it is called shining pearl 02. Its a beautiful champagne with a dusky rose undertone. I love to use it in the tear ducts of my eyes to brighten them up.
To the Left is Golden Shine 03. It is a beautiful true gold and it looks lovely with a tan and when you want a warmer more summery look.
I love the formula of these creme highlighters. They aren’t to wet so they are easy to apply. They go on like silk and dont smudge all day. They set just like a powder but without the annoying fall out and they sink into the skin keeping a flawless finish.
Next Up is this Beautiful lipstick by Alterra in the Color fuschia. The color is very innocent and girly. I would describe it as a pinky violet with a silver sheen. It is slightly frosted but in this case it works well!

Thanks for stopping by and wishing you beauty and bliss!
We all do! It is natural for us to be drawn to the sun because it is both beneficial our physical and psychological well being. There are times that we under estimate the suns powerful rays and then we pay the price with chills, sore red skin and some times even becoming very ill.
Here is a potent and cooling face and body oil to heal your burnt skin in no time.
Recipe
50 Ml Jojoba oil
8 Drops of German Blue Chamomile Essential Oil
15 Drops Peppermint Essential oil
Jojoba oil is a fabulous oil for treating sun burns and the one that I most highly recommend. Jojoba plant is a dessert plant and works well for sun bathing too. It is also a great idea to mix Jojoba with Aloe Vera.
German Blue Chamomile Essential Oil Highly Anti Inflammatory and CONCENTRATED
Peppermint Essential OilAlso Anti Inflammatory and an amazing invisible ice pack that will have you cooled in no time. In my experience Peppermint oil actually works faster and more effectively in cooling the skin than an ice pack because it penetrates the skin layers much deeper.
